To say this neighborhood watchdog and second-time candidate for Mayor of the City of Wilton Manors, Boyd Corbin, is unconventional would be a wild understatement. However, Mr. Corbin is a man of unshakable conviction if not downright persistence. With a restrictive budget, it became imperative to spread his campaign platform through every form of free media and marketing opportunity available. There were two points Mr. Corbin was most passionate about: thwarting plans to narrow the city's main throughway from four lanes down to two, and reducing the city's irrationally exorbitant water bill. 

Although the seat was retained by the 8-year incumbent, Mr. Corbin's tally did account for 25% of the vote, an approximate 500% improvement over his prior bid for mayor.
